2025 Nativity Bowl

Description

A nativity without words, but not without a story. I’m a big fan of winged angels—(maybe due to the fact that I often dream I can fly and hope that will be possible in next life) Angels were among the first witnesses of that singular event that changed the world forever. I imagine the heavens filled with them as they summoned the shepherds, (pictured under the angel’s right wing) to come and witness the phenomenon of the first Christmas morning. The protective Joseph supportively embraces his wife, Mary, who stands in adoration of the babe she miraculously conceived and has just delivered. A family of sheep watch in wonder. Approximately 9.5” x 2.5” fired 2400°F as all of my work, it is fully functional, though may be more appropriate for decoration considering the theme
