Description
The words of Psalms 46:10 are an invitation to the world to learn who, what and how God is. Most of us pray, but very few of us in this fast paced world take the time to slow down, be still, and listen for the answers God is anxious to share with us. C.S. Lewis wrote, “Perhaps your own reiterated cries deafen you to the voice you hope to hear.” I believe the answers to most of the world’s problems stem from man’s lack of reverence and stillness and his lack understanding of his relationship to God the Father and Jesus Christ.
In my books, I sometimes refer to this invitation as the 11th Commandment, and the one that allows us to truly know the mind and will of God—while offering us a better understanding of all the rest of the commandments. But we live in a noisy world. Chaos and nonsense abound. By centering our lives on God and His Christ, there is calm. There is hope. There is peace. The bowl was designed with busy-ness on the outside rim, but there is a calm reassurance of hope and grace as we make our way toward the center where God calmly and quietly invites us to submit ourselves to His will for us. His all-seeing eye watches over us in the chaos of life and invites us to come unto Him, enter into His rest and learn a better way.
The dimensions for this bowl are 9 1/2″-10″ by 2 1/2″- 3″ deep. It is dishwasher, microwave and oven-safe.
